Travel tips:

During our journey we’ve used the internet extensively, these three websites were our most frequented for travel support:

CouchSurfing.com - A website which facilitates the match between travelers and local hosts. Ranging from a coffee together to sleeping on someone's couch (mostly a nice bed). And all based on giving, no money involved.

Hostelworld.com - A great way to book budget accommodation.

Seat61.com - The best source for international train (and bus/boat) travel.

Notes, scribbles and more

When arriving in a new country/culture we try to take notes instantly because even after a few days you get used to your new environment, which makes your mind less alert to make the subtle observations.

By reflecting on our notes we (re)discover the interesting differences and we learn from them even more.
